What Cell or Tablet holder do you recommend?
Look to get some opinions on what the best Cell phone or tablet holder people are using.
I had one in my E46 that was in a great location. You had to remove the trim to install it. Problem was it rattled like crazy if I didn't have a phone in it. So let me know what you think is the best?

Yeah seems expensive for a hold that is only good for one model of phone.

I use this one. Stays in place and the magnet is strong enough to hold my iPhone 7+, even with a phone case between the magnets.

Not that I've noticed and I've used it on my iPhone 6 and now 7 plus. Comes with two different magnet options, one that you can peel and stick onto your phone, and the other is meant to be placed between your phone and case. For the price, you can't go wrong.

I use a Spigen magnetic vent holder. However, I have an iPhone 7 Plus and hate cases so I opened the phone up and put the plate under the battery so it's not visible at all. Best mounting solution I've ever had. I've been using this setup since the iPhone 5 days. I'm pretty sure you can flip the car 3 times and the phone will not move. It also keeps the interior of the car looking nice and clean since the mount blends in with the air vent when not in use. Absolutely zero issues with reception of any kind.

In my e90 I used the Spigen A230 CD mount. Same idea, but the CD mount happens to fit in the vents well and provides a more secure fit than the vent holder above. I'm very happy with the solution and would buy it again in a second. https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-A230-P...=p_89%3ASpigen |

The magnet ones will block the wireless charging, I had to use a smaller piece on my S8+ and put it near the bottom, the wireless charging chip is somewhere in the center, it will work as long as you don't cover it

Most likely it will, wireless charging gets block by metal, the signal waves don't go through.

Never used my CD player so I got this one - https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Only issue I ever had was the part that holds the phone came a little loose. I had to pop off the plastic cover and tighten down the nut that secures it in place. Took less than 5 mins.

For those of you who went the CD mount route, do you have a hard time adjusting your phone to certain angles? I'm asking because the CD player sits slightly more inward than AC controls/knobs, so wondering if your phone hits the AC knobs when tilt your phone upward or so.
I'm also looking at getting this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...Y6AMKO25&psc=1 |

The Spiegen CD mount is fully adjustable since it has a ball joint holding the phone side of the mount. It looks like Mpow mount is similar. Note that I'd recommend going with a magnetic mount if you use a case on your phone. I have both types and greatly prefer the magnetic one. Getting the phone out of one of the side-grip mounts is a pain.
I tried using my CD mount in the CD slot but it blocks too much of the car stereo's screen. It does fit great in the vents to the right of the steering wheel though. Kevin |

I use this one and I love it: https://www.amazon.com/Nekteck-Magne...teck+car+mount
The magnetic products are the way to go. It is very easy to mount the phone and get on my way in the morning. I had the stuff with the plastic side clips for a while and that always pissed me off-- either it didn't hold the phone or it would be impossible to release the phone from the mount.
