I Want to drive an e46 M3

I've been thinking about getting into an e46 M3 (manual) for a while now and I would like to drive one before I make my decision. I have a 2008 335xi and it will be tough giving up that low end torque. I'm 35 so I'm not some kid that wants to tear around in some guy's M3.
I live in Spokane and hopefully there's someone around here with one or maybe somebody on here knows someone local. While it's not much of a trade, I'd let the M3 owner drive my 335 if that would sweeten the deal.
Without sounding picky, I'm not interested in SMG or convertible cars. Also, the more stock the better so I can see what kind of a canvas I'd be starting with.

I'll allow it! I'm not in the market for an E46 M3 but that does not sound like a bad idea. I wonder sometimes about driving one of those. :

I've driven an E46 M3 before, haven't driven the SMG model, but I definitely recommend the manual if you're looking for one. Definitely more of a higher revving car whereas our N54's are more mid-range. Feels much better in turns as well compared to my E92 with KW V2's. I would even go as far as to trade my 335i for one if I were to find one with the right miles, options and maintenance. There's just something about the E46 M that is timeless.
