Very interesting!

The GTR seemed to have the traction control off though - I wonder what it would have been like with all the electronics helping?

Nice little Audi.... but the price! Ouch.

Precisely. And snapping from no throttle to WOT to provoke masses of under/oversteer is hardly hw one would drive if looking to set a quick time.

Obviously trying to prove a point, but could have driven 10% less hard and gone 10% faster. Although I guess a "GTR beats Audi A1 shocker" isn't really a startling video, so you can see why they've done what they've done.

yea exactly, I think steve suttcliffe went for sensationalist headlines here. Even on the developement of the gtr video, the engineers say actually say the car uses torque steer to increase turn in. And besides,

check this out.

If i'm honest, i find Sutcliffe to be a gelatinous waste of space, he just annoys me.
All his work is leaned toward the bias he wants, he has little to no objectivity

The GTR in the snow seemed to have oodles of grip !

As posted above, sensationalising headlines ...... a sign of desperation ? lol

In next week's totally sensationalist bullshit video, Sutcliffe drives an F40 in first gear only and is eventually overtaken by a Perodua Kelisa, claiming it to be 'much faster' than Enzo's greatest ever road car.

Wow. Bit of a downer on Steve Sutcliffe. He can drive - used to race TVRs . Why wouldn't the Audi be quicker? Let's not bring Chris Harris back. The guy's a cock.

I stopped watching Autocar videos a while ago.

Chris Harris over on Drive is a much better watch. In fact the Drive network as a whole make some very entertaining but accurate videos. Makes a change from the likes of Top Gear.
