Actually when I got my car coded, I went with the intention of learning. But it was way harder than I thought. And I can read German pretty well too.

We should have a coding session haha! I'm trying to set it up on my old macbook as well. Downloaded standard tools 2.1.2, and a separate Winkfp file for the Alpina flash

I just use INPA & NCSExpert & NCS Dummy. I only know how to code though, I don't know how to flash or do more complicated things like DVD in motion.

Hardest part is setting up the software

Need help asap. my xenons crap out and start flickering. I'm worried people are gonna start pulling over thinking I'm the Police. lol.

I believe you can code out the DRL. But with FRM1 you need to put the light switch to position 0 in order to have just the Angel eyes running.

With FRM1 coding will not help you to get AEs as DRL.
You need a DAEOS Harness.

Check your spark plug or ignition coil pack. Don't know if INPA can do a check on your coil pack.

Just bought myself a BMWhat obd2 adapter and it'll be here by next week.
If all goes well, I'll be able to code the car using the BMWhat app.
I'll let you guys know how it goes. I can help code other cars too if it goes well.

By the way, the full list of what you can code (enable/disable) can be found here:

I'll code for $20 and you come to my house in Oshawa.

PM if interested.

FWIW, I recommend only coding with the cable, it's faster and more reliable.
