Question about Bav Tool

I think I know the answer but I want to make 100% sure before I throw it away. I bought a Bav Tool I was told it had one vin left on it. We'll I no longer have the car and I have the tool still.

Is it just junk now, is there anyway for me to check if it has any vins left ? I wod hate to just throw it away but if it is useless then I see nothing else to do with it.

Thanks for your guys help and if this need to be moved to another section then MODs can move it.

Are you talking about the Bavarian Technic tool?

If so, I'm not sure how you would check how many VINs it has left, but if you're going to throw it away, I'm willing to buy (even if it has no VINs left).

If you plug the cable into another BMW & start software, it will tell you if there are any VIN's left & how many...

Thanks for the replies guys, I just sold it for cheap due to there should not be any vin's left on it. If there is the they got one hell of a deal.

But thats okay I dont mind
