///M headrest decal

I found these online and thought they would match my ///M seatbelt cushion and I also have the ///M stripes on my interior front trim piece. Thought it looked nice

Is your car actually an M3 or a 335 as stated under your avatar?

Yikes... besides the fact they don't look centered on the headrests (maybe camera angle?) there is WAY too much "M" going on in there for a non-M car....

Why not put Ferrari logos on it too?

Because I don't have a Ferrari idiot. I like the ///M stripes. I don't have any M3 badges. People use M3 bumpers, M3 rep rims, M3 this.. M3 that.... It's not posing unless your telling people you have a damn M3.

I'm probably a little too sensitive to this kind of thing, but I have a personal distaste to slapping the "M" logo all over a non-M car. Having owned an M5 for a year, I can say there's just such a chasm of difference between an actual "M" car and those that aren't.

The use of the M logo doesn't bother me as much, but it just sort of looks tacky to me

Give the guy a break, let him bedazzle his car the way he wants! People are getting so sensitive on the M subject these days, as long as those aren't going on a Mercedes or Audi I see no harm...

It's a fine line nowadays, as the M logo is also used for branding M-Sport parts, which come from the factory on E9X (and other) BMWs.

+1, headrest decal is one thing but the seatbelt cushions are really overdoing it. IMO

No one is saying he can't. But, he did post pictures on the Internet for comment. Comments tend to happen in those circumstances.

I think I walk on the correct side of the line. I'll never badge it m3 or say I have an M. I just really like the M stripes.

I could see how the stitching brightens up the dull interior... Same reason why I was so inclined to get the m3 steering wheel over the mtech.

a simple comment would suffice, instead of getting all religious about it.. Just saying, but I get where you're coming from. Interwebz

Yeah, like I said, I have an innate bias on this issue and although my rational brain tells me it's rather silly for me to harbor such a bias, the car enthusiast dislikes the dilution of the "M" brand. Didn't mean to touch off a flame-fest.

Lol touché on that one. But only a fellow bmw fanatic knows that. That's why I love where I love. Bmws are SO rare. With that said... I could play my base 335 off as a fuckin M6 and people wouldn't know. But I don't try to pose the m3.... My fav color is blue and I just love those stripes lol. I wish the "M" didn't come with it and it was stripes only! ..... Come to think of it.. I can remove the M! But it won't be centered now
