335i Smoke at idle

I have a 2007 bmw 335i it has 69,765mi i just installed downpipes and now at idle my car shoots out alot of white smoke that smells like oil. It used to only smoke from the left tip for about a week so i assumed it was the turbo seal going bad but now it smokes from only the right exhaust tip. I can also see smoke coming from the hood that also smells lik burning oil but once i revv the motor a couple of times it will stop smoking from both the hood and exhaust please help any information will be greatly appreciated
Mods are fabspeed downpipes, ae exhaust, jb4, bms intake

It shouldn't be smoking from the hood unless you have an exhaust leak, but if the downpipes are relatively new it's probably the gaskets sealing. The first hundred miles or so I had a brutally noxious smell in cabin with hvac on, it was the gaskets setting in, and has since gone away completely. FWIW my car does smoke, though it doesn't "shoot" out as much as waft out for a few seconds. Could be bad seals, could just be the nature of being catless, could be coolant...Doesn't seem to be a true consensus.

It happenes everytime at idel the downpipes hav been on for 2weeks nd i put about 1000mi already on them it smells like burning oil but its white and theres so much i t will cause a parking lot to be foggy and smell lik burnt oil

maybe your car is burning oil. check your oil level.

It is burning oil about 1/2quart every 1000mi my question is why is it burning oil and why is it coming out of one exhaust tip only

Sounds like you have an exhaust leak near your downpipes and one or more bad seals on the turbos. Did your old downpipes have a lot of oil residue in them?

If its really letting off that much smoke you probably have toasted seals. N54s always leak or eat oil at some point sadly.

gonna be installing my new BMS DPs and hope this issue doesnt happen to me...currently the car is running pretty good

I got my turbos replaced about 20,000mi ago tho so idk
