Here's what I did last night. Only fogs (both front and rear) and angel eyes come on when you unlock the car. No blinkers or sidemarkers I'm proud of myself

You need to look at the spreadsheet for Welcome Light values - you can choose which lights come on during unlock, as welcome lights.

I'm going to look into this. I saved my TRCs from the CAS, FRM and NFRM modules and I'll poke around in those files to see if there is an option there. My father-in-law speaks German so maybe he can point out the value. I'm thinking it will be a wert_ value since the light options would be high beams. It would be nice to be able to code this in.

Ok, I went through my CAS trace and found all these matches to DRL. I believe the CAS lists all the options that are currently set in the modules right? I see values for other modules in the main CAS trace, like LEGAL_DISCL is listed, etc. I hope one of these is the DRL setting and then once I know what value to look for, I can trace the other modules to find it and change the option.

I am not sure why legal_disc is in your CAS. That should be located in your CAPPL for navigation.

I know it's not really there, but I think the CAS trace is just a listing of all the module options that are set, like a summary.

Obviously, I had to program the CAPPL to remove the disclaimer.

I'm confused, when you unlock the car, don't the parking lights (i.e., tail lights, license plate lights, city lights or AEs (if your car has them), and the front turn signal/sidemarker lights already turn on? Also, not sure I'm following your post correctly. For instance, if I wanted to have the headlights turn on as part of the welcome lights, I would change WL_AL from 'nicht_aktiv' to 'hart_einschalten'? And if I wanted the fog lamps to come on, I would change WL_NSL from 'nicht_aktiv soft_einschalten' to 'hart_einschalten', or would that be 'aktiv hart_einschalten'?

I have an 07, only my door led things come on, nothing else; and i haven't tried the above yet; just found them on another site w/ translations; will let you know once it's confirmed, or someone else does it..

I don't understand people. I just requested access (my email is *************************) that was a good idea, restricting access, and we should add a field to whom found an updated param or answered a question so we can track it. I want to try to get more organized with all the questions, etc.

I have a request, can an E92 owner that has AE as DRL, pre-LCI, preferably 07 or 08 email me their CAS, FRM and NFRM trace files? I'd like to compare my trace to theirs to see if any differences pop-up. I'd be willing to code it on my car. Thanks.
