everything here is true, ATs need upgraded oil cooling. Anyway - deve - what octane did U use? What settings did U use for V2 with that fuel?

Are you guys datalogging with the laptop every time you obtain coolant temps? Or are you doing the 27 step process to get it to show on the cars dashboard screen? BTW, I cant recall how to do that either.

My car runs relatively cool on track days (oil temp wise) but its not exactly easy to drive like a bat out of hell and watch my damn laptop for the coolant temps.

that's why U datalog. U watch the road, then U can analyse your logs after U stopped.

no, the overall write-off of the AT for track. Upgrade to dinan oil cooler, upgraded fmic, run 100 octane. I think you'll find the AT will fair well.

Car may have been an AT, but was he driving it like a stick (shifting it himself)? Again, sometimes the difference between limp and no limp for the MT is gear selection in the turns. With all the torque available you don't have to drive like it's a NA car, high in the rpm band.

I used 91 Shell gas.
V2 with default settings (90% across the board)
I did manual shifting with "paddles".
Oil temp never exceeded 280 so How bigger oil cooler will help with coolant temp ?

I've read almost all topics about AT limps. There was proposal to use Water wetter. Did anybody try ? if so did it help to solve coolant overheating issue ?

So the data-logger will log over 30min of a track session without disconnecting? I cant make 2 pulls without it disconnecting on me.

Also, the data from the data log is meaningless for track events since you cant actually watch whats going on until after its already too late.

I think that could be a big part of your problem right there. You either need to run higher octane gas or lower your settings. The default settings are great for the street and strip, but on pump gas, they fall apart on the road course.
