Hello,

I’ve been using my C310 scanner on my last two BMW’s with great successs (e60 530d and e92 335i M-Sports)...

My friend is having trouble with his E90 316SE 2011

Car will turn over on the starter motor but will not fire/run. Sounds like fuel issue.

The problem is when I plug the c310 in to read the DME I get this???

Can anyone tell me why please?.....and is there a solution?

It doesn't cost much for a decent cable and ista is quite easy to install, I also have Carly for quick checks but if you really want coverage of all codes ista will be your best bet.
You could try an email to their customer service? Maybe there's an update for your unit with extra code descriptions but I'd get an ista setup done regardless as a backup solution if nothing else

I was hoping to find a solution with the C310 as I’ve never had this issue before!
