The cable will be here tomorrow. I hope all future updates are implemented with the same speed!

Spoke with someone at Bavaria Tech today. I was told the support for the MSD81/N54 is not complete and they will be working to add more supported parameters.

BTW, it doesn't work with handicapped Dinan tunes.

And I guess you opted for overnight or 2nd day shipping? I should have changed to 2nd day as I will be back tomorrow and am tied up Friday evening. There is so much I want to do this weekend with the logging capability.

I didn't want you to have all the fun this weekend, so I expedited the shipping. I'm hoping I can add some legs to my handicapped tune.

So is everyone who is getting the Pro version doing so in anticipation of write-level access to the ECU for future flashing?

I have been looking into getting a scanner tool for a while now. AutoEnginuity was my #1 contender until availability of this device came about. The idea of command line coding is appealing but just really a perk. I'm most interested in trying to figure out how each of the car's modules could be possibly be modified or retrofitted. I also like supporting the lesser known companies that seem to have the most unique ideas to bring to the market.

As soon as we can reliably "tune" our car with the Pro version, I'll be 1st in line to upgrade from my Enthusiast version .

I wonder if you can program an alarm? That procedure alone saves at least an hour of programing at the dealership.

Bubbles, you read my mind. Can someone email them and confirm this? If so, I will buy it immediately.

For those that get the pro cable - remember to backup your running config and ios before you write erase (probably only funny to those who know cisco ios)

+1

Do we need the Pro version in order to add an alarm or even satelite radio to our car? Or would the enthusiast suffice?
