How you drive it will also have a large bearing on the stress and wear of the engine and the rest of the driveline too ....

I know JB4 runs less boost than COBB with similar performance

That is true, i mean like safety mechanisms in place to deal with bad fuel, humidity levels and things like that.

JB4 G5 ISO map 5 is your best friend. It'll adjust parameters depending on fuel quality, ambient temps and more. COBB OTS maps are just boost happy and too many people are still complaining about boost oscillation.

What mods have you got on Map 5 and what boost are you getting. Iam still on Map 2 with my mods. Might change to Map 5 once the PE exhaust is on

DP's and IC. Boost varies. On 98 I see 15.5psi tapered to around 11psi and on a E85 mix I see around 17.5psi tapered to 12.5psi. I prefer map running map 5 to map 2. It's a little more clever.

Spoke to Terry a few times, he still recommends Map 2 with DPs. Might try Map 5.

I feel like this thread is misleading.

OP has an N55

95% of discussion here is N54 :/
