I talked to injen and they said that basically the filters that come with the intake is the largest that they could fit and Amsoil doesn't have any part number for reverse cone filters that will fit on this intake.

Also, we are going to receive the intakes tomorrow for ship out.

Well that sucks. Thanks for checking into it for me. I'll still figure something out. I love the intake and it's looks, but hate that filter design. Basic physics says more surface area results in more volume of air with less resistance. That's why reverse cones work and are so popular.

Maybe the company that makes the BMS filters has a design that will fit.

Thors... you intake shipped out on Friday. you should have received an email with the tracking information.

I don't know too much about BMS, but maybe they will. But from what I have heard from the Tech support at Injen, it seems highly unlikely.

Here is the company that makes the BMS inverted cones. Again, if I just had the dimensions of what the Injen comes with, I could source it myself. If I have to wait until it arrives, I will.

Product is great! Instructions could use a lot of improvement. You can tell whoever wrote them, English is not their first language. Pictures are difficult to read, too.

That said, it looks awesome, sounds better, and feels about the same as the BMS one I had previously. If looks and sound are important to you, this is well worth the premium price.

Plus, it's a good deal anyway!

Injen does not supply the Red intake piping. and the filters are all Amsoil "blue" filters now and they are supposed to perform better than the older "red" ones!
