Man I wish they werent so expensive. I know you get what you pay for, but man o man those are sharp. Id rather the break at the top like the ol 7 series I think they just look menacing. The full rings are quickly growing on me though.

Actually it looks surprised to me.

With the fogs on it doesn't look as much so, but I suppose if I were to pick, the U-shaped larger ring is my preference.

Here are some night time pics! There is always a market for everyone. Some may like the cut out at the top, but I know what my preference is
With these HID fogs it completes my front lighting mods. God its so bright with just the AEs as DRLs and fogs at night that I dont even need my low beams on...With low beams turned on, man its super bright all around The third pic shows how well the HID fogs 6000k matches the OEM xenons. I had to take it at a low light level as it was too bright to make anything out! lol Pictures are not the best representation of what it actually looks like, as I need to work on my lighting photography skills! Might work on that next...

I am not a lighting modification person to begin with and all my cars in the past were just bulb replacements, but I have to say that Oneighty hit the ball out of the park with hooking me up with the lights. It has transformed what appeared to be a dull look in the front end to something super special and exciting. Its actually making me want to drive around at night...Thanks Oneighty and Artem (owner) for taking care of my car.

If you're ever interested in the perfect match, here's what you'll want to do:

1. The ORB rings use 5000K LEDs.
2. The OEM xenon bulbs are 4300K bulbs (but they do color shift with age, so they're probably sitting closer to 5000K now). When they burn out, replace them with the Osram CBI bulbs. Thy're super bright because they use a different salt mixture rather than a color tint (which reduces light output!) to create a 5000K color.
3. You can then get 5000K aftermarket bulbs, or get CBI's rebased to H8 sockets (or whatever your fogs use!).

But your car looks sick...I will definitely be going with ONEighty for my full-LED upgrade in the future!

I am happy with how it looks. I am not anal with lighting as I am with everything else on my car The fogs looks perfect and matches pretty close to the low beams. I am satisfied with how it looks. Oneighty is a great shop and u will be happy

Used the 180 AE rings but not done by 180customs. I went for the all matte "boring" housing theme. Nice and aggressive IMO.

Haha, you must be the first person that has gone over and touched the fog housing! I personally have no experience, but read that over time, 55w HID kits will do damage. Haven't really heard of 35w kits doing damage though.

In theory, 35w HID kits should be producing less heat than 55w halogen bulbs, so you should be okay there.

my HID fog experiment went south after 2 or 3 months...dont know why but I never could keep the bulb from going out or ballast going bad, I think it was a voltage issue

Oneighty Customs HID kit, the owner Artem told me there were different ballast, and he gave me the better one. So far its working with no flickering whatsover and I didnt need to code it..

Bro thanks for the headsup. But do you have anything ever good to say about anything? Since you know so much about stuff, what SPECIFIC hid kit should I buy? Or you are basically saying all HID kits will melt the housing. I need to understand so I will bring it up to vendor that sold and installed these for me and tell them the info that u told me

This is the best I can get with full daylight and sun shining guys...I know you guys requested more pics in daylight but this is the best I can do...Sorry if its still not what your looking for but I will say these AE rings are clear and pristine and the definition and clarity in night and day are the best I have seen from others leading competitors. If your into full rings then this is a no brainer, but you you like the cut out then these are OBVIOUSLY not suitable for you...From the pic the right side is in sunlight and the left side is in shaded but there is no difference in clarity and definition..

BTW for those that keep coming on this thread and saying they think the cutouts look better and more aggressive BLA BLA BLA, and the eyes look scared and surprised BLA BLA BLA...Wonderful you feel this way and we all know you feel this way, but please stop posting on this subject already as we all know your opnions...This is for those that like the look of the FULL RINGS...

one more late afternoon..Thats all folks with pictures..I am done as I have given pics in almost all possible lighting to show the AE rings in full effect..

They are for sure NOT as bright as the OSS type rings but for those that like clarity and definition of the rings, these by far are much cleaner in that respect. If you want them to be brighter, just look for a coder to increase the volts on these AE rings and you will be more than happy with how much brighter it will be

I got custom work done to the lights so the price is higher then the normal price of just installing the AE rings. I got my housing painted gloss black and the projector housing painted in metallic silver. I paid 800 for my lights with installation but regular AE rings just cost 550 installed.

180 customs did my headlights on my 370z and they came out insanely good...

I will be paying them a visit to get this done to my 335 mtech coupe... looks really good. Gonne do the same gloss black housing and AE as the OP

I just finished up all my lighting mods and the last one was LCI tails...Took me about hour to install as I had to re-wire the harnass as the harnass comes totally all messed up for an E93. Pop these suckers in and then I coded my car to accept the LCI tails...I am done with lighting mods!
