BMW 335D E90 Saloon - Large project in progress. Soon to be Matte Blue and Remapped!

Hi All,

I am new to this forum. My name is Ryan and I am 22. I purchased my 2007 BMW E90 335D about a year ago now and have made a few modifications in that time span. So far I have made the following upgrades:

EBC Red Stuff Pads
EBC Groove Discs
18" Alloys
Red Caliper Paint

The engine is currently stock. I will be remapping my car in a few months once I am happy with all the external work.

I have just purchased M3 Wings/Fenders, Door mirrors and bonnet. I do not want an M3 and I am not trying to be an "M3 Replica". I will not be putting an M badge on etc. I just think those parts give the vehicle character! I am not doing any quad conversion to the rear etc.

My car is booked in next month for a full vinyl wrap. I have gone for matte blue but not the 3m wrap which most people usually use. I have gone for a slightly darker shade of blue which I think will look great!

Please see some pics below of my car from stock to present:

I will be happy to hear your opinions and advice during my journey to creating a lovely 335D. I can upload more photo's on request.

Having problems uploading my pics as they exceed the dimension limit.

Google Paint.Net. Resize to about 40%. That usually does it for me.

So I have now been able to upload a pic. I have got slightly bored of the way it looks so will be having it fully wrapped in just under 4 weeks. I am going for the full matte effect (no gloss) to be different. The contrast will be between Matte Blue and Black. I am in two minds whether to keep the calipers red or change them to match the wrap. I will decide nearer the time.

I am going for light tints to all windows apart from the rear window which will be a medium tint! I could get the alloys simply refurbed and kept as is, or alternatively they can spray the complete set matte black for £250.. not bad!

The chrome surround around the window will be wrapped matte black.

Thanks pal! I will be doing a light tint on all windows and a medium tint on the rear window. Just 3 and a half weeks to go until the car is wrapped!

What do you think on spraying those rims matte black? I'm in two mind whether to leave them how they are..

I like the wheels they way they are. Having the black on the inside of the spokes looks awesome! My favorite look on wheels. Not over showy, and classy look

Dyno Results

Please see dyno chart below of vehicle at stock. I was slightly disappointed with the figures but the car needs a full service etc. I will be doing another run before I get the remap done. Dyno carried out by BW Chiptune. Nice chaps
