I always liked the cafeteria food. $1.50 and it came with everything. If you wanted a cookie, it cost $.30 . If you wanted chips, it was like an extra $.60. I wish I could eat and pay what I used to pay...That came with everything..

Small carton of milk, a little baggie filled with Juice, vegetable, entree, and side..

Like you, I wish I could pay now what I was paying then. When I was in high school (public) I got a $15 allowance every two weeks. This paid for my school lunch and my clothes and anything else I needed. School lunch was $.35 a day and was tasty to a point (the Spanish rice was horrid, as I recall) and included milk and a dessert. One day I paid with a $5 bill and got $23.65 in change. Today, a meal at the cafeteria at work costs more than 200 times what I paid back then.

I get 20 bucks for the rest of the week at school for lunch and 20 bucks on fridays for the weekend money because my parents find me making a sandwich and bringing it to school. I just eat that, then save my cash and eventually thats where i get all the money for my mods(plus i had some savings i used when i had a summer job one year).....i remember not eating school lunch for 6 months to get my wheels....now im enjoying my money and not saving it.....but this summer im going on spartan living/saving mode..

Yea, before your dad bought the cafeteria, the burgers were only 35 cents, but he raised them to $10 to pay for your mods!

I gagged a little with the crackers, watered down meats and cheeses lunchables. The pizza ones I didn't mind although it was just uncooked pizza

Man, you guys are picky eaters. I still love eating the ham and cheese crackers lunchables. If it wasn't for the 1350mgs of sodium and 20g of fat I'd eat them everyday.
