E91 Retro Fit USB Audio

Hi - I am about to buy a 2008 E91 320d and am tyring to find out whether it is possible to retro fit the USB audio kit so that I can plug my iPhone in. My local dealer said it wasn't possible but it is listed as an accessory on the BMW site.

It is possible but it is rediculously expensive to do, my previous E92 model didn't have it and I was quoted over £800 to have it installed.

Harsh - that does seem a little excessive...

Is there any other way to be able to control the iPhone via the steering wheel or stereo headunit...?

I got a quote for this and it was £500 from Wayside Milton Keynes.

I have the usb,aux part that goes in the armrest if interested, not sure what else you would need but wud need a few other things..
