DIY: Removing Hard Water Stains (glass windows)
Hey everyone. If your car has bad hard water stains on the glass windows, try this stuff out. I actually got it from one of the cleaning ladies at my workplace. Works great and doesn't itch your hands if you happen to not wear disposable gloves. I'm sure you can order it directly from the company or a local vendor. It's made by Continental Research Corporation (www.crcorp.com).
*** Don't confuse it with Majic Carnaubu wax. It's not the same product. *** Tools/Materials: - Majic-Clean cream cleanser - round applicator pad - clean microfiber towel - disposable latex or nitrile gloves 1. Clean your window with some reputable glass cleaner and dry it completely. 2. Squeeze about a dime size amount of MC cleanser onto the applicator pad and scrub the glass, like how you apply wax. 3. Wait about 2-3 minutes and wipe the glass with towel. 4. If you can still see some hard water stains, re-apply and wipe off afterwards. Bottle BEFORE AFTER (passenger side) AFTER (driver side) If you noticed in my pics, the BEFORE pics was after I cleaned it with glass cleaner. Glass got much cleaner after applying the MC cleanser. The reflection of the ceiling light fixture is more detailed and clearer. Last edited by nvturbo; 03-15-2018 at 04:21 AM.. |

Let me ask the cleaning lady. I know they order it from a local vendor, not directly from the company.
I've tried "Barkeepers Friend" but DID NOT get any noticeable results. They are also on Facebook. I'm sure you can message them if there is a local vendor near you. Last edited by nvturbo; 03-13-2018 at 08:51 PM.. |

Talked to her and she mentioned her supervisor orders them from Major Chemical Co. Their number is 704-552-4722. Hopefully, they will be able to sell you individual bottles instead of bulk quantities.

2002, try contacting Major Chemical Co. They are a vendor and may be able to sell it per bottle instead of a box of 12.
Honestly, I didn't noticed if it had an expiration date or not. Just as long as it is stored in a cool, dry location, you shouldn't have much to worry. I have NOT tried it on plastic, just glass. Last edited by nvturbo; 03-15-2018 at 04:20 AM.. |

If it becomes a hassle to purchase from the manufacturing company or vendor, let me know. I can get with the cleaning department to see if I can order from them.

It’s a great diy and thanks for posting but it’s kinda pointless if others don’t have access to the product know what I mean. I will definitely take a couple of bottles if you can get them.

GOOD NEWS FELLAS. I personally talked to the owner/supervisor of the cleaning company and she is willing to sell me whatever stock she has. They have not been using them as often as they need to and have a good surplus. She will get back to me shortly and when I find out the pricing, I will pass on the savings to you guys.

update:
spoke with cleaning lady (owner) and she's going to look to see how much she paid for product. Hopefully, it's not going to be until next year until she finds her invoice. Sorry for the holdup fellas. |

NO updates yet. I've emailed the lady the other day but have not received a response yet. Yeah...she doesn't seem like she's in a damn hurry to get back to me about it. Not sure what she is thinking. It's not like I'm asking her to give me the stuff for free. SMH
