Speaker/Amp wiring

Before I start, I'm no audophile and have no clue what the hell I'm doing most of the time.

Started off with a 2008 e92 with the Professional OEM HU and Base speakers (2 Underseat woofers, 2 front and 2 rear).

I then added a JL Audio 250 Subwoofer with a JL monoblock 250/1 amp in the boot/trunk.

Then upgraded front door speakers and also added tweeters with a set of Rainbow 2 way components.

Then decided to upgrade the HU to a Dynavin N6 - Brilliant HU and definitely noticed my Rainbow set sounding much better after installing these.

Today I have fitted BMW Individual speakers to the rear.

I know the Rainbow and Individual speakers are pretty useless without an amp, which brings me to my question. What amp would I need for this and would I need to re-wire the speakers to the amp and from the amp?

A wiring diagram would be really handy

EDIT:
Oh I also have a set of L7 speakers with the parcel shelf, but I haven't managed to fit that yet. Did spend about 10minutes and seemed to be too fiddly, so left it alone for now

If you have a base system you have no amp.

If you have a base system you have no amp.

Are you sure which system you are starting with?
There are lots of clues in the following links.

Yes I definitely do have the base system and no AMP. I would like to add an amp, but the question is what sort of an amp should I be looking at and how would I wire it?

What I don't want to have to do is re-wire all the speaker cables to the amp, because that will be a lot of work. So I was wondering if there is a way to wire the amp to the HU and obviously the HU is connected to all speakers.

Hope that makes sense.

Did you read the part about buying a harness.

Did you read the part about buying a harness.
You need to buy a Technic Harness or something like it.

Given that you dont have factory amp, you will have to route the RCA or speaker level outs from the Dynavin to your trunk and then connect an AMP there. Many people use XD600/6 in general. Powerful and fairly inexpensive.

And you dont need a technic harness in this case.

I think that has answered my question, but just to clarify do I then not need to run another cable to the speakers from the amp?
Sorry I'm clueless when it comes to car audio

You are absolutely right. You will have to run the wires from amp in the trunk to each speaker (or bring it all the way upto the head unit and bypass them there. There are tons of base system upgrades here on the forum that you can lookup.
certainly not an easy task but might be worth paying someone to do it if you can and crave for it.
