My 4 wheels (M3 Replica) cost me $575- Canadian, however, they are replicas and made in China. They do look like the real thing (check it out in my garage). I use them as my winter wheels (Photo Album "Winter Set Up" in my garage ~ link is below).

Click .... I don't know if that is the style you are looking for

I got them new second hand, I think the fellow paid around $800.00 for the set of 4 when he ordered them.

As can be seen on the pictures in my garage here ... in addition to BMW Stampings there is the name of the Manufacturer, date of Manufacture etc stamped. Replica wheel Manufactures are not allowed to add a BMW stamp on the wheels they make.

Click for a wheel picture showing stampings here

Do you guys think this is a good deal?
I was thinking to powder coat them, good or bad idea?
Are these wheels IN right now? how will they look on my e90 in your opinion?

"Some curb rash and peeling on the wheels" guys says that they are straight and true..

I doubt that these are original BMW wheels. I don't think BMW wheels would peel like that. I am leery of after market wheels. I bought two sets of M5 replica wheels for mine and my Son's cars. Out of 8 wheels, I had to by 7 more to replace bent ones. Thing is.... I can't recall hitting anything that would bend them other than just driving them on normal roads.
My Son hit a hole with his new BMW 335i and it bent the control arms but still didn't bend the wheel. Real BMW wheels are forged rather than cast.

Is this the stamp you guys are talking about? does that prove that these wheels are OEM BMW M3? thanks

Yes, it proves that the wheels are indeed BMW. I have never seen the color peel like that from a true BMW wheel.

jackb and Rolf-Dieter do you guys also agree that these are the OEM m3 wheels? The peeling paint is throwing me off a bit, thanks

Hard to tell, I would print a copy or e-mail the photo to your friendly BMW Service Manager, he has the tools and means to tell you for sure.

My personal opinion from seeing the photos are A) they are properly BMW wheels or made for BMW by some approved wheel vendor. and B) they may have been re-paited/coated since it appears they are not exactly the shade of wheels (in finish) that I am used to seeing as I said it is hard to tell.

So my recommendation (to be sure) check with your BMW service manager.
