As already mentioned, I don't think the BMW Show is mentally busy on the strip, so you'll get runs in no worries AND it's unlimited runs too (something I was glad to hear).
My car is the same mate, so no changes to report I'm afraid. Will be giving her some welly up the strip most of the day though, I know that much..

Boz - I was going to PM you to see if you were attending.. So that's saved me a job.. Any new additions pal?

I'll consider it mate. But the inspection will need to be done (valve clearance job too) and I'm in need of rears,

The car though I really do believe can put in a 13.0 which is what I'm aiming for before I do any modifications. Then I'd love to break into the 12's with some work.

Not bad for an E46 ///M I feel.

Hi Ben, only a new set of non run flats on the 18's, can't wait to try them out.

Did you see the track day at Silverstone advertised? I thought this would be right up your street.

Hi Dave,

I think I might be able to make this! Do ou need a certain number of people for the stand to go ahead? Also, what time would I need to be there.

Would be good to meet a few guys from the forum as I'm relatively new on here.

Thanks mate,
Matt

No mate, I didn't.. Silverstone would be great, but I think I would like to lose my RWD track day virginity at somewhere a bit safer like Bedford first. If I were to try Silverstone, I would get carried away and end up upside down in the kitty litter..

Just noticed on the site they are advertising the date as starting Saturday 15th.. Is there much difference between the days in terms of what's on? Sunday is definitely better for me, just wondering what I'll miss, if anything?

Our stand is going ahead now as we've made the numbers! You can still sign up for now no problem. I'll confirm with SSDD how much more space I have once I know you're itnerested.

We usually get to santa pod for about 08:00 and meet on the way up somewhere at services for a little convoy (which historically is usually one of the highlights of the whole day).

Let me know if you want to come along!

Rgds
Dave

I would order online as it's a bit cheaper and is also quicker but no issues with you paying on the door at all. We give you the pass for your car (Free) and they handle your personal entry ticket.

I'll confirm convoy details today/tomorrow and post up. I imagine it'll depart toward Podington at about 07:15 from Toddington services or so (M1 J12)

People can camp over on saturday night. The show is sunday. Nothing much happens on saturday unless you're making your own antics in a camping area basically

Hiiii sorry for the slow response.

Passenger entry is bought directly from Santa pod. I'll send a PM to everyone to confirm details later on today.

We then give you the car entry to our area.

I need to have a quick chat with SSDD who are hosting the EvoTechnik stand and then get a message out to everyone.

You are however more than welcome to join us !

Back with you shortly

HELLO!!!

So. Santa Pod is next Sunday IE the 16th of September.

By now I hope that people are buying their passenger entry tickets. You can do this ONLINE but the deadline is TODAY! https://www.eticketing.co.uk/santapo...x?itemref=1732
After today the £12 goes up to £15 but you can still order them online or by phone. Alternatively you can buy at the gate but expect a queue for this.

Once you have your ticket for personal entry there are two ways to get stand access with EvoTechnik. Firstly by meeting me at the TODDINGTON CONVOY (details to follow) and secondly by speaking to the people at the gate where I will leave the rest of our stand passes.

For ease it will be great if you can directly collect the stand passes from me and also the convoy is always one of the highlights of the show for me. Expect rolling road shots, video hopefully and all the rest of it.

So as stated we are aiming to get to the gate for 08:00 and this means a convoy that DEPARTS Toddington at 07:15.

Therefore, please sign up to the convoy if interested. Furthermore, my number is below. Please STORE THIS and give me a call if any issues on the day so I can do my best to help out.

TODDINGTON CONVOY: ARRIVE 06:50 DEPART 07:15

2.
3.
4.
5.
6.

As said my phone number is below (Replace X with a 0...)

X759582X668

Hope to see you on the day, and at the convoy if possible :-)

Lastly I am very happy to confirm that the EvoTechnik stand which is being hosted by SSDD Motorsports once again will also be directly next to BWchiptune for the third consecutive year which means that two of the best traders at the event are right next to you. We are also next to E46zone who are a great forum and really this is the best location on the site that we have here - I'm sure you'll agree when you park up. If you are new to the event; I think you will be wowed at just how well located our stand area is - directly opposite the grandstand right on the action end and with some actual bona fida grass rather than just being stuck on concrete miles from anything.

One final advantage of that location is it's nowhere near the drift school which means your car won't immediately get covered in crap that they kick up They are good to watch but do throw up a massive amount of dust.

Dave

Hi Dave,

Just to confirm, bought my entry ticket. Just trying to organise with Alex how and when we can join you guys for entry into the show, as we're coming from quite far away. Will text you the details to confirm.

Cheers for organising and looking forward to the show!

We join the A509 off the M1 from opposite directions, so Matt & I could potentially merge with you guys there on London Rd? all we miss of the convoy is a few miles of motorway driving.
