Just turned 63K on my 08 328i MT.

Car has been good, owned it since 42K. I have swapped coolant, gear oil, diff oil.

my steering wheel had some serious play whenever i would go over rough/cracked roads. It got to a point where I would hear a slight clunk when I come to a stop. The mechanic confirmed that the right c.a bushing was completely disintegrated, hence the clunk. I think it was a combination of the bushings and bad tires. Had both of them replaced and the steering feel is so much more confident. Oh yeah!! have someone else drive your car down the street and back and stomp on the brakes while you watch the front wheels. You'll notice that the front wheels do a wobbly dance. that's usually a good indicator.

I have an 09 e90 328ix with oem 220 wheels installed. When I brake my steering wheel turns close 60 degrees, sometimes right sometimes left. I took the car to the dealer and they said the tires are following the road crown and it turns more than usual because of the aggressive offset of 220 wheels.

What do you guys think?

There's no way it's because of the wheels. They're only 0.5" and 1" wider than stock e90 sport model wheels. There has to be a different problem than the wheels. I don't really know what it is but I highly doubt it's the wheels...

It may be, Depending on the offset.. I was running stock 162 wheels with 15 mm spacers in the front and front road surface steer was very annoying. Removing spacers solved the issue for me..

I'm about to roll over 110k on the 328xi I picked up this week. The previous owner serviced it regularly and it feels great all around. I just gave it an oil change, did the carbon filter delete and dropped in a K&N panel filter. Woohoo for 2 more HP! I think I'll have my motor mounts swapped the next time I have it in the shop for something though it doesn't seem all that bad right now. It feels great to be back in an e90, I've missed my '07 335i every day since I sold it (damn house ).

I bought the car back in Feb with 43k. The previous owner didn't drive much which was good for me.

about to hit 111,000 miles on my car and so far i've done the water pump, transmission fluid, rear differential fluid and front and rear door lock regulators. Honestly that's way better than our Mercedes which has 125,000 on it but i had to replace head gasket on that at 100,000 miles and things are breaking left to right on that car

Your one lucky dude and you don't have to do a 3 stage intake manifold swap like I do. Jealous.

~120k
Normal stuff:
Springs/dampers (for performance, not wear). Fluids-diff/trans/coolant/brakes all changed twice.
Plugs changed, vanos solenoids cleaned/swapped
Waterpump/thermostat changed before failure
Battery

Failures:
Oil filter housing gasket, passenger airbag sensor mat
Upper strut mount needed to be cleaned and re-packed with grease.

So far, its been great! I still love driving my 330. I plan on keeping it for many years.
