Help! What controls the sounds from the radio and what controls the power windows?
Hey guys, So I took my car in for some work. Apparently I needed a new body control module (my instrument cluster stopped working). So I got a new one. When I got it back, sound from the radio wasn't working. My CCC screen comes on and looks like everything is fine but no sound. Also, BT won't connect. On top of that my one touch up (only up) won't work. This is affecting my convertible top as I need to roll down my windows first or it won't open. Everything was working fine before until I got my car back. It's back at the shop but I guess they're having trouble figuring it out?
Any ideas guys?! TIA 07 335i e93 Ok more info. I posted this on the e93 group thread but reposting here "Ok guys I need some major help! I brought my car into an indy shop because I was told I needed a new footwell module. When I got it back, the sound from my radio stopped working. On top of that, my one touch up window stopped working. Due to that, my convertible top wouldn't go down unless I put the windows down. When I put my top up rear windows go up but front does not. My indy guy said it might be a coding issue so I took it back. Now he's saying that the top won't do gown nor my windows as well. He said that because the module can't talk to the top (can't find it) it's causing my windows to not work. and he has no idea what's going on. What is going on here? I need major assistance. Anyone have this issue before? Thanks" I'm desperate guys!

Hope this guy is a BMW Indy because
Hope this guy is a BMW Indy because
whenever you replace a module it has to be programmed for your car and all its options. Does he have all the diagnostic and programming tools specific to BMW. You might get better answers on the coding sub forum. Never heard of a body control module. electical e90 pdf http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...,d.cGU&cad=rja http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...85464276,d.cGU http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j...85464276,d.cGU http://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=368 Last edited by ctuna; 06-21-2016 at 06:39 PM.. |
