Depends on when in 2009 your 335 was built, if it was built before August it should be the same system. If it was built August or later it will have a different model TPMS.

Check your build month, its on the door placard with your VIN. Genuine BMW sensors are fairly expensive, over $100 each list, but you can usually find Bremi or other quality brand sensors for around $50-$70 each. Most will tell you if you need an early model or late model (they have different part numbers for different brands), but if you check your build month, you should be fine.

This going to sound totally amateurish, but my door jamb doesn't list my VIN or build date, just info on tire sizes and pressures. Is it under the BMW scuff plate? I checked all 4 doors and I feel really stupid right now lol

So according to this chart (http://www.tiresensorsusa.com/bmw.html) My TPMS sensor is OEM #36 23 6 781 847. There are TPMS kits on ebay (like this one) selling all 4 sensors for $172 with full compatibility with the OEM. I assume that will suffice.

Tire rack sells 4x sensors and valve stems (but the stems won't work on all wheels just most as I found) for $200 which is about the best deal going...
