YES! Im sure most of you read about all my wacky elec failiure issues. I ordered my car march 2007. Way out of warranty but nevertheless nice to have a better idea on what it is. also. For the 3rd time in a row when i had a passenger in the front passenger sear the warnings came on so its no longer coincidence. So someone sitting in the passenger seat is triggering the failure.

Nevermind. I guess I would be covered on a recall. Duh.

In a reasonable world it might require a couple phone calls and maybe a fax or two, no need for lawyers at all. Had he not had his car fixed BMW would be on the hook to reimburse his local dealer to replace those parts so it's not like he's shafting them.
It's fun watching dude get worked up though.

Wow, I just got a major service call done on my vehicle and I have to go in for a new exhaust system due to something from the cats breaking off and working its way into the muffler, hopefully they can do this install when I go back for my new exhaust system.

Yep he wants that dollar back!
I guess no one ever reads anything in the OP! All of this how do I get it fixed bs. Read people, the recall is not released and will not be until March. By then I'm sure the recall will be posted in here somewhere then everyone can unwrinkle their panties.

Bmw screwed once agein with this cable. Last time-e60 had issues, some of them even burned due to that.

This is probably incredibly hard for the marketing department to make proper positive cable. Engeneers are needed f for that.

BMW seemed to know of the problem in mid 2011. Read a couple of instances on this issue here on the forums. Here is what BMW did for repair, not sure how they covered it prior to the recall or if the fix listed is what will be performed under the recall.

My wife's 335 stalls at least once a month. Nice to see there's a potential fix.

Why are some members acting like they are gonna die if they drive their cars? Some of them wouldn't even know about this or be concerned if this wasn't posted on the front page. Relax and take the car in when the parts are available.

Thank for sharing. Could this have anything to do with some of the reported fires stemming from the battery? It would be good to resolve all the issues at one time.
