It's completely open, as we have an HPDE conducted with the two other Texas chapters at COTA on the 2nd weekend of June. The schedule for the entire year is posted on the website at http://www.tejaschapter.org.

This month's event is unusual, as we normally have them on the 3rd Saturday of every month, except for the Utopia weekend-long event in October, and the Charity event in early December. Sometimes schedules bend to availability of facilities or conflicts with other events.

From the looks of what ive seen on the C&C Facebook page, I think if this meet was to be "revived" it would have to start from scratch.
It seems like the original volunteers of Cars & Coffee are not too concerned with finding another venue for the location. Reckless behavior was the reason why the meet got shut down so even if a new location was found the reckless drivers will just follow...
The only possibly way I see the official volunteers of C&C getting involved again is if there was a venue/property owner that arranged for police to work the meets; reinforcing and ensuring the safety of attendies...

Otherwise someone would have to get the ball rolling for a new meet. A new meet with the same "idea" as C&C...different FB page, different name....

This, however, is only me thinking out loud. I may be wrong about everything!!! :O

Thanks for the link...Hopefully next month will work out for everyone. I know someday you will be available to join us!! I know you had planned to attend Aprils cruise, but i think the weather hindered several from going out at all. :/

Yes, I'd like to attend for sure. So many really great roads in our area here. I recently went out to a new Nature Area that was just opened up by Kendall County Parks. It is out Kreutzenberg Road (off 474 just outside Boerne) - you turn on Mark Twain Road and it's just a little ways down. Has public Guadalupe River access and some great picnic tables, etc. Great drive there and back. There are also some great wineries in the hills around Comfort, and Luckenbach is not all that far - just a nice cruise out Sisterdale Road.

I missed April partly due to the weather and partly due to landscaping at my place that didn't get finished the week before. Don't have anything else lined up to get in the way.

Regarding C&R - the one in the Austin area was held in the middle of Leander, and the entire City Council was behind it - kind of like a City function, with local Police and Fire officials keeping traffic in line, parking by car marque/type, and plenty of food trailers/local businesses. Another one got started out at The Oasis on the South end of Lake Travis. Not sure what we'd need to do over at The RIM, but it'd be worth inquiring about. There's also Leon Springs and Boerne, too - Boerne already has lots of organized car-club events.

But I agree - the actions of a few immature self-centered idiots ruined it for all of us. People of coarse breeding, no doubt. :P

an easy way to get cops to monitor it would be to charge every car $1 or $2 depending on how many cars there usually are to pay for a couple of cops for a few hours.

i'm sure most would rather pay a buck or 2 to increase the safety and security of the event than to see it end.

Don't have one here, but Berli's in Austin is possibly the best body shop in the state - they do lots of very-high-end cars and are pricey, but the results are worth it. Aside from that, you may want to check with BMW of SA for their recommended shop that will repair it to BMW standards, which will not detract from the value of your car come sale/trade-in time.

Actually it's my guy I go to for myself and all my previous installs. He is good price and on point with everything. Just wanted to put it out there since I know some people don't work on their cars themselves. So just a little FIY.
