Which double sided tape/glue for spoiler?

I bought my rear boot lip spoiler a while ago and stuck it on fine no probs but I had to take it off as it wasnt square/even both sides and was annoying the hell out of me. I used no nails double sided tape to stick is back on and it looked similar to the one that came supplied with the spoiler. As I was washing the car I noticed its started to lift off halfway

Can anyone reccomend me glue or decent double sided tape that I can buy over the weekend?

Not sure about UK, but in the US, it is sold at Autobody Supply Stores (places where you buy automotive paint and such)

As with most I recommend the 3M tape, Others have use the official glue from a BMW stealer.

Just ask the parts department they will know which one U mean. be warned it will expensive. £40+

3M is superb.
But you MUST clean the surfaces properly.
And ideally use their adhesive promoter chemical too.

At the least scrub the areas in contact with the tape with some Iso Propyl Alcohol (IPA) or paint solvents.

If you want it to stick permanently, there is the silicon version in a tube...and tbh big poundland stores actually sell the Hard As Nails brand

When you go to Halfords, just make sure you don't pick up their own product... Was in two minds buying it and right to do so, both number plates and rear spoiler now coming off

^^

Definitely use adhesion promoter.

Personally I cleaned the car and left it a day. Then used alcohol wipes to clean up the surface, be generous here. Let it dry out. Then apply adhesion promoter, it will leave a kind of film you can see in the right light. Let this dry again, don't rush it else you are just wasting your time. Then stick it down making sure you press it down well as you go. Ideally do it in warmer weather. I used a hair dryer to warm everything up a bit and help the drying but that was because it was 5C outside.
