So the rear is at it's highest setting, what about the front? I don't want to bother my mechanic when he installs them this weekend. I think your drop is perfect, not too low! Please let me know the exact setting. Thanks.

Yes, the rears are at the highest, but I couldn't tell you exactly what the fronts are set at. Prob somewhere in the middle. He said there's quite a bit left to go in the front.

If you don't plan on moving the ride height on coilovers, you can spray the threads too. I ended up dialing my ride height then giving the threads a quick coating also. I noticed the parts stay cleaner a lot longer and resist corrosion better. This goes for any suspension component. |

I used Boeshield T-9 on my coils prior to installation. It is non-permanent but provides excellent protection. It also acts as a lubricant which makes adjusting your coils very easy.

@ rogerdiaz
2 years later, and I've noticed that infamous clunk at low speeds, from the fronts and a sort of "bouncing clunk" from the left rear. I've searched and I can't figure out the rear sound, but the fronts I believe is the spring and adjuster rubbing one another (should have put a thin rubber gasket in between the two) I was told by my dealership there's a small leak from my front right strut, and no idea what the rear sound is. Unfortunately next spring I will be looking for another set of adjustable coilovers, might just go back to the same ones considering I got them for a great price at Modbargins.com. Overall before the clunking they were a great set, I lowered them in the summer, raised them in the winter. The rears are slightly a pain in the ass to adjust, but not difficult. I live in the mountains of PA, so the they get worked pretty hard, so I think 2 yrs. is a good amount of time that they go "bad." most recent pic 8/9/2015. The guy don't have "dust cover for a front and a rear + mounting nuts missing + wrench"...can the stock dust covers and nuts be used instead? i.e. same size? Can any wrench from ebay be used? Circled in red are missing. I got the springs. |
