4/5 detail revisited a month later - lots of DD action

believe it or not....I just washed my m3 for the 1st time since an extensive detail on 4/5/09, so a bit over a month ago. It just does not stop raining here so I have not washed it, no point.

well I couldnt take it anymore and decided to wash it yesterday evening, we have 4 more days of rain forecasted now too....

products used in the detail:

Mothers gold class car wash soap...out of my good stuff
clearkote blue clay
Menz SIP
Menz 106ff
Menz glaze
Jeffs acrylic Jett
CG Pete's #53 wax ( 3 coats)
wheel wax and acrylic jett on all wheels

after just a wash and not even dry yet, here is what she looked like yesterday. Still looks great after a full month of daily driving duties......Once it stops raining i'll give it another wash and put another coat of wax on, i'm sure the 53 is pretty much gone at this point...

================

After a week straight of rain and daily driving duties, the new hell in my life got a bath. It was so dirty I was disgusted. I look outside right now and its raining again.....damnit!

oh well, only the 3rd time I've washed this car, 1st time at my house.

figured I'd share.

anyone else on the east coast sick of this rain????

wax is still beading nicely :redspot

RCJ's are proving to be a bitch to clean, have to take them off to clean the barrels every time. I'll do it too.....I got problems.

I'm thinking a nice BBK will look awesome behind these wheels.....need to sell a few more homes ASAP. Anyone need one

lovin these seats :alright

Looks good but those beads are starting to wear, not very symmetrical. The gloss and color look great!

Want to try Collinite 476 and see how long it last being a DD

You have a beautiful E36 there. Love the wheels.

Yes, you have a problem. I can only stomach taking my wheels off twice per year. But I have purchased every tool known to man in order to clean the damn barrels while on the car!

And boobs? What boobs? Hell I looked twice!!

Now I see them! Amazing what a wide-angle lens can do.
