I've been tracking this ship as well. My new 335i convertible is onboard. I need my convertible. My OCD has been kicking in as well. Every hour I check the shipping site. This boat better doc soon!

Does anyone know what happens to European re-delivery cars that are going to the PDC in Charleston?

I got an e-mail saying that they can't give me a PDC date till the car arrives in NJ and clears customs. So does that mean that my car will be dropped off in NJ, and then have to be trucked down to Charleston? Or will it get back on the boat headed to Charleston?

*Don't all the cars have to clear customs, not just ED cars? If they all do then the boat wouldn't be taking any BMW's to Charleston.

Any one have info on Emden? it's one of the "direct to Charleston" ships. Was supposed to get into Charleston on July 5th, 6th, and/or 7th depending on which original schedule you look at.

So since its been docked.... has anyone's status on BMWUSA.com changed from "En Route" to "At Preparation Center" ? (Cause mine hasn't.)

BTW, SellBee, I did ED too, so I'm in the same boat with ya.... literally! (Although for some odd reason I wanted to do a PDC pick up too, so who knows when that'll be.

The Bill of Lading says that the car was discharged at 22:25 on 7/2 but thats where the trail ends. I believe the CA will be notified when its loaded on the truck for delivery to the dealership. Just can't wait.

I can't wait either.... AND I'm not sure my CA will be on top of things. (My original salesperson who was AWESOME got "let go" 2 days before I did my ED. So now I'm especially worried my car is someone else's afterthought.)

My car was released 7/02 at 22:?? something as well. It better arrive at my dealer tommorrow, I want it Saturday.

When the car is unloaded of the vessel, it goes through the Vehicle Prep Center, VPC. After the VPC it gets loaded on a truck and on to the dealer.

My OC is showing "At Preparation Center" now.
