Nice place to eat on the South Bank?

I thought this might be the right place to ask, amongst other discerning 3 series owners, he he!

I'd like to know of a good place to eat on the South Bank. We've been to the Oxo tower, which was lovely, especially as the weather was good and we sat on the balcony as the sun went down over the Thames - very nice! But we'd like to try somewhere else, but in a similar vain, on the river side pref.

Any suggestions?

there are a few floating restaurants down by embankment..

i can't recommend any exactly but i have walked past on many occasions and thought they looked pretty interesting places to eat

what about the savoy on the north bank / strand?

EDIT: I've just been recommended The Archduke down by belvedere rd, and RSJ on coin street from a friend

Buddha Bar is on Embankment but not riverside, good food though.

Try the Top Table website, it is great for recommendations. I found a good lebanese place just down from London Bridge through it.

The OXO tower is good if you are feeling flush!

yeah, top table is the website you need!...

Gaucho got a riverside branch I think, if u like steaks!...

there are a few goo drestaurants by the riverside around canary wharf....parking is easy aswell....

Thanks for the suggestions, in the end we ate at the hotel we stayed at - The Hoxton, their restaurant is at it happens, great! Fab atmosphere and the food was very good too.

didn't say you were staying in shoreditch, LOADS of great places to eat round there..
