Which tyres? 9.5 x 19 et35
These alloys on a 335i M Sport: http://www.********.com/index.php?ro...&product_id=82
Front - 8.5 x 19 et35 Rears - 9.5 x 19 et35 Are these tyres ok? Front - 225 x 19 x 35 Rears - 255 x 19 x 30 I'm thinking Continental Sport Contact 5P all round? Or put the RFT from MV4 alloys on? |

i think on a 9.5J 255 would be ok but would run a little stretch! from my experience 265 sits perfect on a 9.5J
but if you already have the tyres they will be fine! they will fit! just stretched a little! lol

The last thing I want is rubbing if I change. I'll continue to use the RFT if I can, for now. Will stretching them cause any issues? (apart from the lower profile look). |

You will get no rubbing issues from a 265 on the rear mate but if you already have some 255's it will only be a tiny stretch, barely noticeable.

are the rims suitable with runflats as I understood the inner rims are different for runflats. I have the 235/265 setup and no issues, looks the nuts from behind as well.

hey mate
shouldnt rub, i am running a 235/265 and i have a 12mm spacer on rear too! never had a problem with it (although my arches have a light roll/flare already) but 225/265 would fit fine on them too! would look pretty cool if you dont mind a slight stretch

I've got the same size wheels and off sets as you. i've got 235s up front and 265 on the rear. I recently changed the rears to good year assym 2 after the contis only did 10k miles before being worn. The contis have a different look to the goodyears as I've tried to show.
good year assym 2 - less stretch conti 5ps - more of a stretch effect conti 5ps on the front |

Pic below is my wheel, I fitted my R/f to these 225F 255R and the stretch is quite a bit, Imo... Also it seems you cant get R/f in 235/265 but am looking into this further. If you are going to change to non R/f after your tyres are gone, then I would just bite the bullet and get new tyres with the wheels you want now. Hope this has helped. |
