Heh - yeah I love the bokeh! I'm always shooting macro with odd backgrounds... Shots turned out "ok" I have been busy lately, but I wanted to get the pics up last night before crashing out.

It's a Nikon D40 w/ the 18-200 lens... and the (can't remember the model) newer nikon external flash. SB... something? I'm at work atm so who knows

Anyways - I will probably purchsase some deadening for the doors. I want to do the install right, the first time.

Uh Oh... You didn't tell me you are a Noink I don't know the Nikon flash numbers but I think the newest is SB600 or maybe 900? I know a really awesome new flash was released from Nikon. Very nice little piece!

If you are going to really do it all out up front and looking for the best of the best I would contact and go with Second Skin. Ask them what you need and how much. They offer kits and piece meal packages. Definitely contact them and they can get your car QUIET on the inside in the middle of a war zone! They offer spray on, stick on, mats and all kinds of cool stuff!

What's the difference between Stage 1 and Stage 2?

Stage 1 is the speaker replacement and stage 2 will be a plug and play amplifier upgrade.

You might be surprised. We have many customers that 'need' an amplifier and they switch to our stage 1 and call back thanking us for not selling them an amp. They love it

Lots of positive reviews are on M5board which have a very similar system. We have sold a lot of the e90 Stage 1 but unfortunately not forum members.

The amp will have an RCA 'passthru' so you could easily connect another subwoofer. Wouldn't be a problem.

I know the stock "amp" in my GTO was awful.

When is the ETA on the stage 2 (amp)? I assume the design incorporates some sort of "surround" processor to be compatible with the L7 system?

I suppose you could always add it later, if there would be any savings to be had, would you perhaps offer a discount of some sort to those who bought the stage I?

I ususally find the Sound quality of stock amps to be poor when driven hard. Frankly I find the L7 system lacking in clarity and drivability at higher volumes.

My plan is to update the 8's under the seat, amp them, and replace the speakers and amp those as well. Im just trying to decide what is the best product for my needs. I have no desire for any "boom".

I have JL's in my GTO, 2 8's in the rear decklid and 6.5s in the cabin. Driven by alpine amps. A monoblock for the 8's and a 4 channel bridged to six for the cabin speakers. People can't belive that I have only a pair of 8's in the rear shelf, in factory replacement configuration. Its probably the best "sock stealth" system we've ever done here, (My best friend is a pro - used to work for Freeman's in Charlotte) and they did a number fo GTO's using mine as a demo car. Requiem for a dream is simply awe inspiring on the GTO's system.

I expect BETTER from the BMW as there are more points and a center for a surround effect. The thing that worries me is the 4" driver compared to the 6.5 of the GTO.

These all speakers in stage 1 are amped from stock radio? Can´t believe that just speaker upgrade will improve sound quality dramatically - especially when amped from that stock sh*t units. But if it is reall i would like to have upgrade stage 1 at least as well, i´m into car audio little bit but don´t want to cut or heavy mod my new e92 baby and i´ve got that worst Bussines HU

I mean absolutely no disrespect, but do you realize how many months (and I mean many, many, many months) you have responding by stating “a couple of weeks,” or “within weeks,” etc.? Be a man, and only make a ETA on this product when you really can back it up!

Now, I plan on purchasing your upgrade for the E92 Coupe, but I am tired of listening to another BS artist! Stand up and tell the truth!

I know you're not trying to bash, but JL audio is bigger than these guys and it took them quite some time to create a sub enclosure and many members were rather disappointed by the results. My car isn't going anywhere (hopefully), once the full BSW package is shipping for e92 335's I will definitely take a look - even if it takes another year.

The amp is from the uf110 sub they sell for the e90 (non-335i)...
