By way of a slight update, I drove over to Broadoak BMW on Saturday and took out their demo 123d coupe with the new 204 hp twin turbo engine fitted and what an engine, bags of torque all through the rpm range, even in 6th at 70 mph when I stamped on the pedal it just took off and revved right around to 5000 rpm, so petrol, like.

The model I drove was a M sport and had a few toy, but Bluetooth and Xenon’s don’t come as standard, so it gets a bit pricey when their added.
