Procede 9-10 Maps and Procede Flash Log

Car 2007 335i 6MT

Mods:
AFE DCI
UR DP's
Helix FMIC
AE Exhaust
Maps 9-10 Aggressive Stg 3
REV 3
Procede Flash

Logs are 3rd - 4th gear pull, temps are about 50* last night.

Looking at my AFR i am running 9 across the board, seems pretty rich. Also when first getting on it in 3rd gear the car seems to hesitate/pull back then seems to pull hard again. Looks like I have some ign correction at about that point also.

How can I get the AFR's where I need to be and is this the cause of my early 3rd gear ign correction?

Log:

Here are my current user settings:

Thanks for any adivse

Try bringing down your OL value some and see if your afr is leaning out a bit more

Running 9s across the board is a little too rich. Ideal would be 11-12. I wonder if shiv can offer different types of a/f scaling for his flashes.

Thats what I was thinking, I am currently waiting on my flexfuel to arrive, hoefully that will dial things in for me once I start running e85.

Any thoughts on the ignition correction at the begining of 3rd gear?

Log the actual ignition advance. If there are no timing drops then your car is happy. Correction log is not necessary

Jeller- go ahead and set all the values in the AFR target table to 50%. And then adjust OL fueling down as need be. No reason to run any AFR enrichment with the ProcedeFlash and setting all the values in that map to 50 will eliminate that.

Click on your AFR in the view and hit P. Set the value range to auto so you can see your values more clearly. I think you'll find your AFR is mid 11's and then raise to 12. But Shiv is correct, your OL should be at 50 with your flashed DME.

Adjust OL fuel will have no effect on AFR target. To actually change the AFR target, the AFR target table needs to be adjusted. Set all the values in this table (not a user adjustable input) to 50 when running a ProcedeFlash since you don't need a double enrichment (Procede plus ProcedeFlash)

OP, this is what Shiv is talking about. OL setting within the user adjustable will only change your trims and has no impact to your AFR unless you're maxing trims at +34 which you are not.

Like I said before, if you're still having issues with seeing your values within the log analysis, click on the AFR graph and hit P. You will get a pop-up box that lets you set the values and it also include an autoscale function. This option is very helpful when your chan_setup.ini values are not set correctly.
