It looks like the reservation is becoming an issue, not only at Hula Hut, but basically everywhere. We (Aerix, hockeynut, and myself) are working on an alternate plan for this event. Please stay tuned for further details.

Hey guys and gals,

Just wanted to send some apologies for not being able to get us reservations, but given that we are probably going to have over 80 to 100 people you can imagine it might get a bit difficult. The real issue is that it's on Mothers Day...and Mothers Day is the busiest day of the year for restaurants. Very few take reservations at all much less for a 100...haha But rest assured we will find a suitable location.

I won't be able to make it tonight, my wife and I are going to look at a new house at 7:30...she already had it booked. I never know what the heck I am doing in the evenings...haha

Sorry guys.....when this date was voted on by e90post members at the end of last year, nobody realized it was Mother's Day. It also didn't show on the calendar I looked at, strangely enough. I'm fairly easy (not to be taken out of context

), so if enough peoples' opinions support a change of date, I'm down.

Lets see what everybody says but I most likely will not be able to make it on mothers day. I say the weekend after since the weekend before is Cinco de Mayo. (some people might have other plans to party in their home town) .02

im down for the weekend after... i just dont want any conflictions, so we can get the best possible turnout for a meet of this calibar u kno.
if we change the date, the sooner the better, so we can notify everyone in time, and give ppl time to change plans if needed....
e90post calender shud have all the holidays on it just for reference.. imo. o well

I don't mind changing dates, but I don't think that's a good idea. While there were some that didn't realize it was mother's day, there probably are just as many people who have already penciled this date in, and planning around this event. Changing the date will only create more complications, IMO....
