any update on location / time?

I vote for not changing the date. People have planned the week out, we don't want to confuse them...

I am working on our new location...got a couple of leads on some great spots so just sit tight...guys. Then we can worry about the date eh.

No worries, I am waiting to hear back from the Hill Country Galleria at 71 and 620. I spoke with management and they would love us to hold it there. The only problem is they are sponsored by a Cadillac Dealership. I explained that we were not an official club per say. Just a group of people getting together. They just want to run it past the sponsor. I should hear back from them in a day or so. This would be a great location, she said that they could section off a parking lot for us. There are quite a few restaurants in the mall so we could all grab food, drinks etc...even though we might not all go to the same place. Then we could head out. So keep your fingers crossed.

I gave the mall the original dates...

Well just got back from a road trip to Mexico, about 12 hours on the road today...My wife was sleeping from San Antonio to Austin so I ran her at about 100mph and made up some time. I honestly can say that the little stretch between the two cities on Hwy 35 is just a crazy flow of traffic, running on average of 80 mph + and no cops what so ever...I drive it quite often and it's just ridiculous! Nothing to run 90 to 100 and be in a comfortable group of 8-10 cars right along with you.

Anyway, Don't get your hopes up yet on the Hill Country Galleria just yet, can you imagine if you are a Cadillac dealer and you sponsored the Galleria, and you get a call about a BMW Meet going on at the very place you sponsored. Haha...I very seriously doubt that they have Cadillac meets but you never know. I though about inviting them just to be an ass, but thought it wouldn't help our case much. I will call them tomorrow to follow up if it doesn't work out then I have some other idea's. All the best guys and gals, check back for updates on my end.

What about Lakeline mall as a back up? There is a huge empty parking lot where the Ultimate's used to be and plenty to eat within walking distance. Fuddrucker's, Chili's, Plucker's, Sorano's, Petsmart...

You cant have a meet without acceptable parking, and I'm not driving down just for lunch.
