Official 2008 BIG TEXAS Meet Thread, Sunday May 11th, 1:30p in Austin

The date is not going to change. There were 2-3 months where it was up for debate. After much recent feedback, May 11th will remain the date. The NEW location will be determined in the coming days.

I should hear back from the Hill Country Galleria on Monday... If I don't I will call them. I will try to have us a definite place by Tuesday afternoon.

Just wanted to let you know that my contact at the Hill Country Galleria was out today. She will be back tomorrow. I will call her first thing in the a.m. Sorry for the wait I am doing the best I can. If for some reason we can't hold it at the Galleria there are tons of places we can.

I am on about 3 hours of sleep, been negotiating a major deal all day from about 7:45 a.m. to just now and it's 10:10 p.m. so I will see how I feel. I would really like to get together with you guys...just depends on when I get finished up.

We will be meeting at the Hill Country Galleria at 1:30 on the top of Parking Garage "A". I will make the flier up tonight wit directions for everyone. You can visit the website for directions as well.

I will be posting directions from the major cities etc...and key phone numbers for people coming in from out of town. Check back tomorrow for the flier. I am just worn out so I won't be finishing the updates tonight.

Just to let you know the place we will be meeting is awesome! Totally brand new, very clean, and if it rains we can move down a level to the inside. Never know about Texas Storms. The other thing is that I am working on getting us a discount on some food at some of the restaurants in the mall.

I look forward to seeing you all there. Remember top level of parking garage "A" If you look for the Hill Country Galleria on any maps it's probably not there becuase it's so new, so just stay tuned for the flier.
