I just got a 2011 335is, BMW got rid of the DVD play features, anyone know how to bypass and play dvd on it??

I know the '09s and '10s have it, but only when parked. Have you tried with the car in park or stationary in neutral with the e-Brake on?

The DVD in motion can be activated by software coding.

This is printed in the MY2011 Owner's Manual:

Starting playback
For your own safety, the video image is only displayed
up to approx. 2 mph/3 km/h, and in some
market-specific versions, only with the parking
brake engaged or the selector lever in position

1. "CD/Multimedia"

2. "CD/DVD"
3. Select a DVD with video content.
4. "DVD menu"
