I took this video from a fellow EvoM member. He spent less than $1k in mods and run 12 flat with some race gas.

My buddy has an Evo VIII with just a reflash and he is putting out about 280 WHP on race gas (not sure which dyno). With a more aggressive tune I am sure 300 is possible.

I believe your ET and trap speed, but that must have been one hell of a run. I have an S2000 with Comptech SC and 255 WHP and my buddy's Evo and the S2K run about even from 0 to whatever, and my best run in the S2K is a trap of 107.

Evos are ridiculous performance cars. They have been developed on the ralley circuit for a decade or more and are simply excellent for pure performance, tunability, and handling. The 335i does not compete simply because it was not developed for pure performance. It is a lot heavier and luxurious and makes a MUCH better DD.

Anyone who goes up against an Evo, prepare to have your clock cleaned.

Just for the record, there are hundred that have done it, I personally spent $1100 on my Evo 9 and ran 12.2 and trapped 111.95mph once. I only had:

My 12.0 sec run was totally unexpected due to my low dyno numbers (300whp on a Mustang dyno, about 335/340whp on a dynojet). However I run my car 10 times that night and I got consistent low 12's @ 112-115mph:

12.08 @ 113.78
12.21 @ 113.78
12.22 @ 114.77
12.28 @ 112.75
12.29 @ 113.35
12.32 @ 114.81
12.35 @ 114.55
12.39 @ 114.82
12.43 @ 112.49
12.93 @ 110.36 (bogged down and I missed 2nd gear)

I used regular 93 pump gas and I had skinny snow tires on the car when I made all the passes (205/50 17s). Here's the time slip:

We are cool bro.. We are not upset, I sometimes don't get the updates on some cars and that can happen to you(happened to you) . My and Serge came from the Evo community and that is why perhaps we are more updated on this subject(Evos).

Is a matter of a fact, if I am not mistaking the Evo has the worlds record of faster and quickest 1/4 mile on a stock production turbo car using teh stock turbo.

The record is a 10.59@127.47mph on stock turbo and all the other mods in the world but stock turbo. Not even the Supras or the Porsches or any other turbo car ever ran so fast on stock turbos with all the mods.

This year TTP engineering also trapped 129.94mph and ran a 10.9 on the stock Evo 8 MR turbo and many many other mods(stock block). Remember, I am only talking about stock factory turbo.

When does the evo x come out? My girlfriend would be crushed if I picked up an evo instead of doing an ED on a 335xi in Munich!

Yeah.. no doubt.. I know theat person that trapped 129.94 from years at the forum. At one point we (me and him) were compiting to get our cars in the low 12's (were both had Evo MR's).

At first I keep up with him but since he owns a shop he started to change different cams, add metahnol and start tuning very agresively and I couldn't simply compite at all, my Evo was a daily driver of you know what I mean.

I am still very very impressed with his achievements, trapping 130mph is not something you do everyday. Some people put turbokits and can't even trap near close. But it is my pleasure to facilitate you guys with some good info whenever is needed.

The Evo X will be released by fall this year. It will be a more "refined" car than the IX (cruise control is finally available!), although it will continue to be a "hardcore" choice. After two years with my Evo I'd advise you to go with the 335Xi unless your main priority is track numbers.

There are a few Supras that have gone 10's on the stock turbos, I believe the record is 10.62. Some have also trapped in the 127-128.xx mph range. Not quite as quick/fast as the evo, but not bad for a 14 year old car.

There are a few people not on the list, but that has at least a few 10 second cars. Only difference is that most of the stock twin supras weren't 'drag-optimized'. 16" wheels instead of 15, ET Streets instead of ET Drags, etc...
