I have a 08 335xi e90 and ive been going crazy trying to get the front end slammed. Im on bc extreme drop coilovers but the front still is showing rubber at the top. Im going for a stance look where im tucking the rubber at the top.

How did you get bc extreme drops to fit? And pictures would help tremendously.

They've been installed on xis before, the spindle on the xi sits higher than the i, so you lose a bit of the drop. Similar to e30 i owners using ix struts to get more drop and maintain travel. Kinda wondered why the i guys here never considered that.

Here is my XI using RWD H&R Race springs/SP Lowering perches on koni yellows.

This picture doesn't do it justice, I have to take more, the front tucks a decent amount. The only issue is the strut would bottom out so I had to remove the front SP lowering perches.

The strut length is the issue for us XI guys, there are a few places that are readily available with shortening the Koni's roughly 2"....1" from the overall body and 1" down on the actual shaft. This process will cost roughtly $300-$450 shipped.

That is what I am about to do to get my XI pretty low up front while keeping shock travel intact. It really is a shame we don't have a coil-over out just yet that'll allow us to get pretty low like the RWD guys.

Oh well, I already have a custom slip-over Swift coilspring set-up ready to go, I just need to get the struts shortened which I believe TCKline sells them shortened already by Koni. I just already have my struts and don't want to go through the hassle of having to sell them, buy new etc etc.
