Warranty Question

Hey guys, I was wondering about the BMW extended warranties/maintenance warranties. If your car is under the warranty, do you have to take it to a dealership? Or does it also cover specialists? The reason I ask is that I'm looking at buying a 2006-2007 328/335i, and there's a specialist shop here in my hometown, but there's no dealership for an hour and a half drive. That could get expensive if I ever had to get it towed in for a repair..

Does nobody know or is this just a stupid question? I'm assuming it's the latter, but the search function returned no results for my particular concern.

The warranty is only covered through a BMW dealer.

You should extend BMW Roadside Assistance along with the warranties. They take care of towing if it ever comes to that.

I think it would be quite inexpensive, check with the dealer.

Road side assistance will deliver your car to the nearest dealer and deliver it back to you.
