You don't want to do that. Upgrade the turbo to a (big) single and then that may become necessary. I had dual 3" catless midpipes and downpipes(the only set ever made) and I can tell ya that a single 4" exhaust would be excessive for the N55 which has virtually no heavy mods available.

N55 335I has no cats in the mids or resonators. 335xi's have whas looks like res or cats on the midpipes.

The can tool can clear all codes. Lucky for me they don't test smog here...

The n55 is already a single turbo...

We may, yes.

Sadly, the N54 downpipes have not gotten any easier to fabricate, by hand, one at a time ;(

FWIW, dual 3" has a cross sectional area of 14 sq. in. A single 4" has a cross sectional area of 12.56 sq. in. So dual 3" is more excessive, and quite a bit heavier.....

If anything, we will probably offer a 3.5" setup. 3.5" will flow well over 800hp. 4" is just going to cause ground clearance issues, and not really provide any real gains.

That's because it's made in the good ole' USA and we know the fitment will be spot on.

Yes, I know how to do the math. I'm speaking from experience that it would be excessive without a snail upgrade, I'm not sure where we disagree here?

We don't, just saying, dual 3" is more overkill than a single 4". That is all

Almost completed, final pics *should* be up tomorrow.
