M steering wheel and TomTom hard-wired
Recently installed the tri-stiched steering wheel and just hard-wired my TomTom.
The hard-wire took a little bit of effort, but my brother and I ended up tapping the cigarette lighter. The steering wheel was a breeze w/ the exception of popping out the airbag module. Makes the stock ZSP steering wheel feel like a Buick.

very nice mod. I had my garmin installed using the same piece you had. My garmin 670 now turns on the moment the car turns on. It was wired to the ignition portion of the car under the glove compartment.

Thanks guys!
I couldn't figure out how to tap it to the ignition -- I wanted to start up on ignition as well...but I have to manually turn it on. It'll only shut off when I turn off the car.

Thanks, I def didn't want the window mount. This was by far the best solution for a clean look.
