Detailer's Domain: Z06 Paint Correction/Swissvax Mystery
I'll let the pictures do the talking on this one.
What was done - Exterior - Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes - Tires were spritzed down with Adam's All Purpose Cleaner and washed down - Wheel wells were cleaned up - Wash down and rinsed - Door jambs were cleaned up - Clayed - Dried - Tires dressed - Masking - 3 Step Paint correction (Meg's M105 with an Uber Yellow Pad, Menzerna Super Intensive Polish with an Uber Green and Menzerna PO85RD with an Uber Blue) - Inspection with Fenix, 3m Sun Gun, Infratech, and natural sunlight - Last Step - Swissvax Mystery - Rubber and Plastics Treated - Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed - Exhaust tips cleaned Products used: (feel free to click the link below for more info) Exterior: Lusso Auto Bathe P21S Total Auto Wash Uber Yellow Wash Sponge Uber Clay Bar kit with Optimum No Rinse Einszett Spray Wax Meg's M105 Menzerna Super Intensive Polish Menzerna PO85RD Swissvax Mystery Wheels/Tires Sonax Wheel Cleaner Swissvax Pneu Glass Adam's Glass Cleaner Adam's Glass Sealant Tools: Infratech 5300 Fenix TK11 Brinkmann Fenix TK40 Flex 3403 Makita Metabo The Uber Foam Pads (5.5inch) Tons of "Uber" Microfiber Towels Uber Drying Towels Brushes Cam Spray Pressure Wash and Foam Canon Attachment Before: Pretty dirty no real sunlight on this day sorry...     Let's start with the wheels and tires, Sonax Wheel Cleaner and Adam's All Purpose cleaner to the rescue       Tires cleaned up   Car Wash    Rinse  Clay  Inspection with the proper lights     Masking Trim and glass   Some 50/50 shots of the correction      Before  After  Some after correction shots   Finishing touches Swissvax Mystery    Black wow on trim   Final Rinse  Beading shots    Afters              Last shot  (Permission for the write up granted by the customer) |
