You would easily be able to tell if it is stock or performance by the way they sound.

I looked at mine again and it says BMW performance, but I know the stock tips dont look like that. Does your driver side tailpipe have a valve in it? It's also odd that yours has the clamps on it.
Here is pics on mine, dirty i know In my pic the vacuum hose is plugged into a metal piece that is essentially like plugging it with a vacuum plug. View post on imgur.com

No I don't have any hose connecting like yours :/
I feel like someone had something before and then had to put this on or something! I hope it isn't stock because I passed up on a good PE offer for today 😭 Here is a cold start: |

I'm thinking you have a modified stock exhaust.

Has it really taken this many posts to conclude that this is a performance exhaust? It definitely is Diox. Those tips you have don't come on the stock exhaust

I remember seeing "boysen" on my stock exhaust. I bet they cut the exhaust out, modified the internals, put different exhaust pipes that allow tips, then used clamps to put it back on. The PE comes as two separate pieces and the center pipe requires a clamp. They may have just put straight pipes on the inside. If so it's better than stock!

I bet they cut the valve right off and put the pipe that allows tips to be added. I think we've figured it out. Btw, I could go back and forth for days. Just as long as I can help someone on here figure something out, just as I hope they would do for me. No matter what it is.
