Wanting to lower your car but not sure how to install the suspension? We can help! We installed the ST Coilover System on our E92 335i and documented the process! This should help you with installing a new suspension on your car!

E92 and E90 are almost identical. The E93, E91, and E82 are even similar enough to use this as a guide.

Not at the current time. The BBK in the video is a prototype we're testing.

It's not going to be 100% the same as you'll have the front drive line components not found on the non Xi vehicle but this would serve as a great guide for your 330xi.

You mention that there are some specialist tools needed for the install, what are those? Can you list the tools please!

Besides a socket set, wrench set, torque wrench, hex set, and a breaker bar; you'll need a pair of spring compressors, spindle housing spreader, and a cut away socket.

Should be fine apart from the spindle housing spreader then. Can't seem to find any in UK though when I google, everything returns US stores - it must be called something else over here!

Sometimes you can get away with using a small piece of flat stock, if you look at other diy's you'll see a host of other methods to spread the housing. We just find that little tool to be the easiest method (and maybe the safest) of doing the job.

Well our 335 was on air for years, when we finally decided to put it back on coilovers it was one of those "we should document this for everyone" type moments!
