Thanks. I'm in, I'd be interested in what type of power I'm making on the MS109 with MAP 7. BTW, we may be headed out to the track again on Friday... Won't really know for sure until Thursday afternoon...

hey guys, im in san antonio and ive come across a small delema.
Laredo paint and body wont touch 3rd party parts for my e92 ( M3 style skirts, M3 style non widening fenders, and a new front pumper). all they'll do is paint them and leave the install for me. its not a huge problem i would love to do the work myself but i dont have access to a lift ( and my trunk tool kit is missing the socket wrentch) one of my options is to have them painted and take them to my high school and dropp it off in the auto shop cause my freind said he would gladly do it FOR FREE. only thing with that is his lack of knowledge on these cars. Does anyone know a good european shop that wouldnt mind installing these parts? ..... and future modifications |

Has anyone tried map 5 on the jb4 vs map 1? Map 5 feels smoother at lower rpms but map 1 feels more powerful. Kind of wondered if anyone local had any opinions. I only have a dci btw

I've never tried a different map. I'm waiting till I get IC and DP's...then do data log, then send to Mike...then change map..
I'd like to meet up this Friday somewhere if anyone wants....if you're going to the track, let me know....

With the DP's you can go to map 2, I think. I've read it's a real nice bump in power from map 1 to 2. BTW Cars and Coffee is this Saturday. I plan to go but gotta leave around 10:15ish for my son's bball game.

I've only done Map 1 and Map 7. Looking forward to trying Map 2 for daily driving once I get DPs. Map 5 does sound interesting.

From what I've read it's supposed to auto-tune with Map 5. (The T-Pain map lol). I thought, in theory with 93 octane, and the DCI that maybe map 5 would give me a little more power over map 1 My butt dyno says map 1 feels stronger though...

Yeh, my 3 year old boy loves it, but my 7 year old boy hates it... They only come when the Wife wants to which is just about never... I'll be there by seven to allow my car some cool down time...
