Dynojet AT gear question

Hi there.

When i dyno'd my car, we used 5th gear, should we have gone for 4th or? Ratios are 0.87 in 5th and 1.13 in 4th.

I see many clips out there using 4th gear, also when we did use 4th there was a slight increase in rwhp.

Gear shouldn't change HP/TQ much, but you should pull in 4th.

Do you have a BT or INPA cable? Any chance you can get me your MSD81 assembly number. It's possible we can find the DME flash for the B3S which would pick you up some power. I'm in Chicago now, but when I get home I have an MSD81 waiting for me to flash and test the Alpina DME flash on my '07 e92 AT.

Wedge are talking about the same flash that pretty much everyone has gotten? I thought you had this already? Or is this something different?

Something completely different... Haha Considering I was the first in North America to actually flash my car.

I'm going after the Alpina DME flash. Figured with Open Source kicking off we need some good baseline code...

Car is remapped mate , does 460whp now

I don't have the stock ecu map for it sorry, btw the difference between the S and non S is that the S has a boost raise of 2 psi ~18psi stock boost level. But that's due to its lower compression engine.. 9,4:1.

No worries mate. With INPA, if you read the DME info, it should still show the factory assembly number if the tuner used it for your base map. I have all the BMW / Alpina assembly numbers, but it would be faster if I had a target to start my testing.

Thanks for the information. Would really like to see your car. Sounds like a real beast. I'm also runing over 450whp and target 21psi at mid range with over 16 deg timing. Running 100% e85 now for almost 1 year, so the S map at 18psi should also work on the high compression engine depending on timing. Just wouldn't want to run it on pump gas. Regardless, if the Alpina DME flash works well, it would be a nice bump over stock flash for a lot of people who don't want to spend a lot of money. Any additional information is greatly appreciated. Cheers

Stock 335i is 8psi, but the Alpina B3 runs 16psi.

ich danke Ihnen für die Zeit nehmen, um zu antworten. Ich habe alle Montage-Codes, so sollte ich in der Lage sein, um herauszufinden, welcher Code erforderlich ist.

You mean 460 crank... No way to reach that on a remap only considering stock intercooler, catted dps and turbos on 94-95 octane.
