They're real - and they're spectacular! - help with 19's or 20's

Finally got my E90 - its been on order since mid Feb - and i just picked it up today. I dont know how you hard balls can wait a full 2-3 months for a factory order - mine just happened to already be on a boat when we found it and i still had to wait a month - that was killer.

Jet Black - Beige Int - sport - premium - nav - cold weather - auto

ADDED - carbon fiber front lip and paint matched rear spoiler

Hella Fun.

Congrats. I had to endure a mid Feb 2005 order and an end of July 2005 delivery!!! Not so hard when you have a then current e46 model to use (mine) until delivery.

All the best with your new car and wheels/tyres combo.

Congrats and welcome to the 'club'...but I beg to differ; the waiting and order tracking made the final delivery that much sweeter...I put it down as part of the essential BMW experience and strengthens the bond with the car...you don't get that with Lexus

I think that the biggest wheels you should put on a car this size are 19", at the max. Just my $.02

19's unless you plan to go off roading, then the extra ground clearance the 20 inch wheels provide will help

I'm not sure if you can duplicate stock wheel/tire diameter with 20's

I would say 19 as the largest, but that is just personal opinion. I'd look for something that is at least as light as stock, if not lighter. Chrome wheels are usually quite heavy and in my opinion look cheap on most vehicles.

In the end though it really comes down to finding a set of wheels that you like.

I have to agree with dkizerian. Chrome to me don't compliment a car unless done properly and I haven't seen many of those. I'd go with 19's.

Why would you get a BMW and then put CHROME WHEELS on it?

Also, unless you live in an area where roads are pristine, prepare for frequent bent wheels if you go 19". I have 18" and I am probably risking more damage than I should; NY metro area roads are inhospitable but during the winter I have BMW Styling 159 17" wheels with winter tires on.

it all comes down to deciding on what you like...do a search for karbosshack or natureboy and you can see 20" chromies..ive got 20" maya rt5 or you can search for 20 inch setups...good luck
